Efficient recycling, high quality scrap

Our services

We provide optimally and safely recycled raw materials as well as a wide variety of services in connection with scrap processing.
We recycle scrap, precious metals and waste - with care, expertise and experience as well as powerful plants - which is reused in steelworks, foundries and metallurgical plants as valuable secondary raw material.

Our core business is the buying and selling of non-alloyed steel, special and foundry scrap, non-ferrous metal scrap, precious metals, stainless steels, as well as iron alloys for steelworks and foundries. In addition to the plants of GMH Gruppe, we also supply customers in Germany and abroad with scrap steel and non-ferrous metals. We purchase deliveries from private persons and small commercial deliveries at fair market prices.

Transport and logistics

Reliable logistics offer our customers the security of knowing they will receive their scrap exactly when they need it. We keep large volumes of scrap available in a wide range of qualities in our warehouses, where we have a total capacity amounting to several tens of thousands of tonnes. This puts us in a position to respond quickly to a big order.

For handling we have cranes, diggers, wheel loaders, materials handling vehicles and trucks. This means that large volumes of scrap can be handled within the shortest period of time. All storage areas are accessible by road and rail. In Osnabrück and Dortmund we also have a berth for inland water vessels. Truck transportation with roll-on-roll-off containers and skip containers can be implemented using our own fleet of vehicles.

We use our comminution units, drop ball areas, hood-enclosed torch-cutting installations and blasting demolition chamber to process a broad range of materials in accordance with customer requirements. For optimal volume reduction we use a briquetting and bailing press.

Our non-ferrous separation system separates primary materials into varying qualities which are then sold as segregated types. The metal-containing primary materials come from shredding plants, mechanical biological waste treatment plants, waste incineration plants and metal dealers. Separation of non-ferrous primary material can also be undertaken on a contract basis.
